Cold inside

I'm walking down a lonely road/
To a silent place in a empty town/
I'm walking through the night/
With darkness and not one light/
The moon isn't shining/
There are no stars at the sky/
I walk alone with nobody by my side/
But there's a good thing at this situation/
I must not wearing a smile/
To hide the pain from the inside/


It's cold inside/
My heart is frozen/
The mind is broken/
But i'm trying to hide/
That i'm smiling outside/
And i'm screaming/
On the inside/


I know, i'm lying every day/
With the smile i faked/
Just to hide the pain/
'Cause smiling is so much easier than/
Explaining why i'm sad/
I'm fighting a battle/
It's a war against myself/
On a battleground in my brain/
And in the silence i hear it well/
My soul is screaming loud for help/


It's cold inside/

But i have learned one thing/
That everyone is fighting/
A battle with his demons/
And we know nothing/
'Cause they're keep smiling/
To hide the pain from the inside/

Hier mal wieder einer meiner englischen Texte, vielleicht auch etwas zum nachdenken, denn wenn wir mal ehrlich sind, laufen wir alle mit einer Maske durch die Welt, um nicht zu viel von uns preiszugeben, zumindest von dem, was in uns abgeht.
